NGO travel

Why?

  • To explore how the development sector is evolving.
  • To understand the dynamics of India's burgeoning cities.
  • To witness the ground reality before sitting on a desk to improve the situation

Where?

The first part of the journey has been mostly in south and central India across 8 states.

How?

A solitary traveller experiencing the public transport system of each place I visit. A friend wondered why I don't book at least a Third AC ticket in trains so that I can work conveniently. I choose to always travel in sleeper because I enjoy the bustle of the crowd in it and the flavours of local food sold by the unauthorised vendors. Plus, you don't make friends by sitting behind curtains.
